Our attorneys

Ten lawyers, all of whom try cases. You will speak to the attorney handling your file, not to a screener working from a script.

The team

Trial lawyers, not case brokers

A large share of the mesothelioma advertising in this country comes from firms that refer the case elsewhere and keep a share. We try our own cases. That is the difference defendants notice, and it is the difference that shows up in settlement values.

Supporting the trial teams

Behind the attorneys are thirty-one paralegals, case managers, investigators and analysts who work only on occupational disease files. Several have been with the firm for more than fifteen years, which in this field means they remember plants and products first-hand.

  • Product identification unit. Maintains the firm's database of asbestos-containing products, site records and prior sworn testimony.
  • Medical records team. Obtains and organises pathology, imaging and treatment records so clients are not doing it during chemotherapy.
  • Trust claims desk. Prepares and tracks bankruptcy trust submissions, which for many clients is the first money to arrive.
  • Client services. Arranges home visits, transport and remote signing for clients who cannot travel.

Nationwide practice

Nine offices. Cases in all fifty states.

Asbestos cases are rarely filed where the client lives. They are filed where the exposure happened, or where the defendant can be sued. We keep offices near the courts that hear them — and we travel to clients who cannot travel to us.
