Asbestos cases are filed where the exposure happened or where a defendant can properly be sued, which is usually nowhere near where the client lives. That is why where our office sits matters far less than you would expect.

We appear in the state and federal courts that hear these cases wherever they sit, associating local counsel admitted in that jurisdiction where its rules require it. What we do not do is refer your case out to another firm and keep a share of it — the attorney who signs your file is the attorney who works it.

You do not need to live in Hawaii to be our client. Almost everyone we represent lives somewhere else. Intake, document signing and case management are all handled remotely, by phone, post and video, and we travel to you for the parts that have to happen in person — including home and hospital visits.

Our intake line is answered around the clock, which for clients on the mainland means you are never calling into a closed office regardless of the time zone you are in.
