What happens when you call

1. A lawyer or senior intake specialist answers. Not a call centre. If you reach us out of hours, an attorney returns the call the same day.
2. We take the exposure history. Employers, job sites, trades, dates, and household members who worked with asbestos. Expect this to take thirty to forty minutes.
3. We check our records. Your history goes against our product and site database, usually the same week.
4. You get a straight answer. Whether there is a claim, which defendants are likely, which deadlines apply, and roughly how long it should take.

If we do not think there is a case worth bringing, we will tell you that and explain why. We will also make a donation to the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation for the review either way.

What to have to hand, if you have it

• The pathology or biopsy report, and the name of the treating hospital
• A list of employers and approximate dates, or a union work history
• Military service details, including ships or installations
• Any letters from other law firms or from a bankruptcy trust

If you have none of that, call anyway. Most people do not, and we can obtain almost all of it.

Attorney referrals and co-counsel

We accept referrals from firms that do not handle asbestos work, and co-counsel arrangements with firms that do. Referral fees are paid in accordance with the applicable rules of professional conduct in the relevant jurisdiction. Contact the managing partner's office directly.
